so ive been hellishly busy and had a headache since last sunday but its finally gone. my bike developed issues this week but i fixed them tonight. now i just have to put the carb and subframe and tank and seat back on
should be interesting, the carb took half a freakin hour to get out. theres a throttle position sensor (who knows what for?) hotstart cable, 5 vent hoses, a push AND a pull throttle cable/adjustments, and getting that shit back in the fucking boot on both sides. i absolutly hate putting something back in the boot, it never goes in easy. but it will be worth it when my baby is running better. the spec for the exhaust valves clearance is .011" but it was down to .005". holy tightness, so i reshimmed accordingly. nasty job to clean out a thumper carbureator. but its done. cant wait to get everything together tomorrow and see if it runs better.
had a fun time at camp this weekend, got a major sunburn.
this week was nice, riding almost every night.
